My 2007 Audi A4 2.0TDI 170ps has an engine management fault. Audi can\’t find it. Help!!?
When travelling along in 6th gear with revs below 2000 and usually when going up hill the power dies and the Glowplug warning light starts flashing on the dash. According to the Drivers Handbook the flashing Glowplug light indicates an engine management fault. If the car is stopped and ingition switched off then restarted the car performs as it should and drives normally.
I took the car to the Audi dealership after this started hapening at approximately 56000 miles (still under warranty) about a year ago but they could not find any faults with their diagnostics. The car is now out of warranty by 20000 miles and the problem persists.
What should my next step be?
