Ok yesterday i was driving to work on a route that has a few stop signs and i stop at all of them all the time. But yesterday i stopped at one then made a turn and stopped at a red light and had a car come behind me 20 seconds later. now this light is on the side of a highway so it is about a min or two red light, when it turns green i proceed and a few seconds later the car behind me turns on its police lights and pulls me over saying i blew the stop sign while making a turn. the problem is
1. there were no cars around when i made the turn so where did this cop come from especially 20 seconds later after i was already at the other end of the block (i drove 15mph btw)
2. i know this because i did stop and check all around me before going past the stop sign and
3. i am a new driver and my insurance told me the fist ticket i get will raise my $2100 rate 40%, so i am more than scared of doing something as stupid as blowing a stop sign and i never have.
what can i do to fight this and actually have it dismissed? i can barely afford my insurance as is. also on the ticket he wrote PO D with a line after the D i guess that’s his signature but above it it says Sign AND Print Name and Rank (Affirmed under penalty of Perjury). does that help me at all?

unless it is jumped off when the jumper cables hit the battery the emergency lights come on, though the switch is not engaged also the dashboard lights come on when its shut off it makes a sort of ticking sound and will not start back today is the first day its done this cant think of anything that would make this happen not very mechanically enclined -_-

What is the best digital voice recorder?
I’m an art student doing a project where I won’t listen to music for 21 days and so I will need to record all the sounds going on around me for 21 days. I was wondering what is the best digital recorder for a “bargain” price. I plan on using it walking down streets, in classrooms, at my dorm and just about any time that I would be listening to music.

Alright I can’t tell if I’m just psyching myself out or if I have legitimate symptoms of diabetes. I was recently told symptoms include frequent urination, thirst, and fatigue. I can’t tell if I’m just over thinking things (because I tend to do that a lot) or if I should be concerned. I use the restroom a lot, but only after I’ve had a significant amount of liquids. For example, if I drink a bottle of water, I’ll urinate around half an hour later. I’m thirsty a lot. Well not excessively but I like to drink water. I’ll drink a bottle or two at school, a small glass at work, and a couple glasses of water or iced tea at home. I’m the thirstiest when I eat something sugary or sweet Becayse I can still taste it on the back of my tongue. I don’t really get “dry mouth” unless I haven’t had a drink in a couple hours. I’ve noticed that I just like drinking, and I drink and eat things quickly, but so does my dad and brother, who are in shape and really active. I was thinking perhaps im just dehydrated? I try to drink a lot of water because I know it’s healthy! And I’m usually always tired. But I can attribute to the fact that I wake up at 630, go to school until 230 and work until 430 and usually get home around 5. I love napping, but they’re not necessary for me. I probably nap 4 times a week during the school year, but that’s pretty common in my school among those who don’t have diabetes! I didn’t really pay mind to it until I heard that urination and thirst are symptoms of diabetes. I always thought I was just dehydrated Because I don’t think I drink excessive amounts of water. I only pee a lot after drinking a lot and I’m only tired when I have to wake up early and be out all day (and I’m a teenager so I enjoy sleep). I went to the doctor less that a year ago, last march, and had the finger prick and urine sample and they found nothing wrong or abnormal about any part of the physical! Do you think I’m just over thinking it or should I be concerned?

I am 13 going 14 on tuesday. I am a short-sighted. Last time I checked my eye sight, which was like in November, the doctor said I had 1.50 n 1.50. Its torture when I go to school. Glasses do not look good on me at all. I look like an idiot and I feel really bad and then I had some hope, the doctor gave me weaker glasses saying that they will help my eyes adjust. But with these weak-glasses, I am having real trouble reading stuff on the board, and it is effecting my grades a bit.
Today, I did some studying, and found out about Pinhole glasses. I went on Amazon, some customer reviews were positive, some were negative. I did more research, and found out that some work for some people, and some do not work for others. And then I found out that quote,
” Pinhole glasses, also known as stenopeic glasses, are eyeglasses with a series of pinhole-sized perforations filling an opaque sheet of plastic in place of each lens. Similar to the workings of a pinhole camera, each perforation allows only a very narrow beam of light to enter the eye which reduces the size of the circle of confusion on the retina and increases depth of field. In eyes with refractive error, the result is claimed to be a clearer image.”
I was relieved and a bit happy, but then I read on and found out, ” While pinhole glasses are claimed to be useful for people who are both near- and far-sighted, they are not recommended for people with over 6 diopters of myopia.”
Please note im 14 in 8th grade. Please explain to me if you think this will work for me and if not, why not? If not, please give me some other solutions I can do to naturally improve my eye-sight. Please.

I’m pretty blind (-10.5 in right, -7.5 in left). I had noticed that my prescription was weak, i.e. my glasses weren’t as clear. So I ordered these glasses, not looking for a miracle, but to improve my prescription a bit and reverse the downhill trend my eyes have.
I wore it for 15 minutes a day, which did nothing for me, so put them away for a month. And then one day I was watching a movie on my computer, put the glasses on for a few hours. The next day I woke up, it was like a miracle. My eyes felt physically different, they felt relaxed and better. The only way I can describe it is if you’ve ever spent a long time reading a book or playing a computer game, then go to bed, and then your eyes feel tired and fuzzy the next morning? Well, this was like that, but in reverse, my eyes felt relax

This guy is sending me mixed messages?
Me and this boy have been talking for about 2 weeks – texting/skype/phone calls and we’ve met before (a while ago), but we’ve never really hung out. Anyways, I’m 15 and he’s 16 and we got to schools about 45 minutes away and he doesnt have his liscene yet, thats why we havent really hung out. He’s sending me mixes messages. Sometimes he’s so cute and acts like maybe he wants to have more then what we have relationship wise down the road, but other times he acts like hes creeped out or awkward or something, i dont know its hard to explain- usually texting But i never say anything that sets it off, he’ll just randomly change the way he talks to me. I want to ask him if he feels anything but i dont want him to be like creeped out, should I? what should i say? Any other advice?
